In our installations, we use original cables and connectors (e.g. MC4) made by the German manufacturer Stäubli. By using factory-forged MC4 Stäubli connectors, we avoid the possibility of making mistakes when attaching plugs to the cut cables by the roof installer. Each extension cord is tested during production to ensure high quality of the entire system. The use of original connectors ensures safe connections. Only original connectors meet the warranty conditions of SolarEdge components (inverter, optimizers).
Moreover, the cables are not exposed to weather conditions, which extends their service life – we achieved this thanks to the use of special, dedicated sheet metal treatments such as cable channels. We use Stäubli cables with a cross-section of 6 mm to avoid energy loss and heating of the cables. The cable diameters used eliminate energy losses caused by the length of the cabling.
