This is a site of particular historical significance – inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Therefore, it was crucial to combine modern technology with a form adapted to the character of the surroundings.
The SOLROOF system utilizes standing seam (snap-lock) panels, which allows it to retain the character of traditional roofing while integrating the PV installation into the roof slope. Such a solution can be considered by a heritage conservator – depending on the specific project and guidelines.
Why SOLROOF:
✔ modular design – easy adaptation to various roof geometries
✔ uniform roof appearance – thanks to the use of tempered glass and coatings that reduce the visibility of the cells’ blue color
✔ highest-class BROOF (t4) and VDE certificates – confirming safety and compliance with European requirements
