How did you protect the SOLROOF roof and its components against high temperatures?

The temperature of the integrated photovoltaic panels does not differ from the temperature of the panels in a traditional installation. This was checked over the last year in our test installation. Additionally, we have secured the system with special SolarEdge optimizers that control the temperature of the FIT VOLT photovoltaic panels. We install high-quality SolarEdge type S440 optimizers. and we use an unusual installation at the edge of the roof, which facilitates their ventilation and lowers their operating temperature, as well as facilitating possible service work.
The Safe DC™ function minimizes the risks caused by power surges and lowers the operating temperature of the panels, extending their service life. FIT VOLT photovoltaic panels, even in full sunlight, show lower temperatures than a roof covered with metal tiles or sheet metal panels.
